What is Reconciliation?
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is a great gift from God! God forgives every action and sin of ours that has offended Him when we go to Confession and ask for His mercy and forgiveness.
We must be truly sorry for the bad we’ve done and the good we’ve left undone. Going to confession gives us a tremendous peace and increases our strength to be good Christians, good sons and daughters of God.

- To ask for forgiveness: Catholics believe that when they do something wrong, they can ask God for forgiveness through the Sacrament of Reconciliation. It’s like saying sorry to someone when you’ve hurt their feelings.
- To start fresh: Catholics believe that through the Sacrament of Reconciliation, they can start fresh and make a new beginning. It’s like getting a second chance to do better and to be a better person.
